Saman√° is an exceptional and dramatically beautiful peninsula. It feels more like an island unto itself. ¬†Green slopes with coconut trees stretching into the sea are all over the place. It is kind of like a microcosm in itself of the Dominican Republic,; with big contrasts here you’ll see poverty and high-end resorts, brand-new highways as well as bad and bumpy roads, verdant mountainsides, tropical jungle like forests, tiny villages lined up with street-side vendors, secluded and deserted beaches, and the radiant warmth of the Dominican people. Samana is really about two things: exploring the preserved natural wonders of the peninsula and relaxing at a beachfront hotel or your private villa.


Samana is known for its endless small and larger beaches, secluded, hidden, and very worthwhile exploring.
